Veterans Memorial Park
Led by members of the Hudson Sesquicentennial Committee, the time capsule dedication was held during the Hudson Sesquicentennial on June 21, 1986. The time capsule is a baby’s coffin covered with stainless steel.
The capsule contains memorabilia from the Sesquicentennial along with items such as a 1985-86 phone book and the 1985-86 Hudson Elementary School yearbook.
The stone, set in concrete, reads: Time Capsule Placed by Hudson Sesquicentennial Committee, July 4, 1986, to Be Opened During Hudson Bicentennial, The Year 2036.
